WER - Dumping local player database

The computer at my local store has started to dump the local player database every time WER updates. Is there a better solution than backing up the local player database file each time?

Thanks

I've never seen this happen before. In fact, I'm not even sure how it's doing that…

I would take this one to the WER Forums and ask there.

Indeed! Of all of the ways that WER tries to make it difficult for us to run events without error, this is not an outcome I've experienced. Most often, WER will tell me I've not signed in for months and need and upgrade again and again every time I sign in for weeks in a row, but so far, I've not had my local player database deleted with an upgrade.
