Many of you have already seen Helene Bergeot's announcement of the 2014 GP season.

There's some interesting news in there (and some interesting locations!) - but perhaps most important, there's something new that we (judges) can help communicate to players everywhere: no more Saturday registration at GPs.

The L3s were discussing this change, and the need to communicate it, and the opportunity for Head Judges at events to mention it in their announcements.

If we can get local GPTs to have this announcement, awareness will spread. If you're at an event and you know there's a GP coming up in the general geographic area, I'd definitely run this announcement:

“As a side note, who's going to Grand Prix Local Area?”
(raised hands and cheering)
“Okay! Remember that there won't be on site registration on Saturday, so make sure to register online or get there on Friday to sign up! Otherwise, you won't be able to get into the event.”

Please, keep this in mind at your events. If you each save one local player from disappointment, we all win.
