Judge Booth - Questions needed

Hello fellow Judges,
its time to get some new questions for the judgebooth.

We need questions including the new Hour of Devastation Cards for the Judge Booth. Please use only Standard legal cards for your questions. Feel free to rate your question (easy / medium / hard).

If you like to submitted a question, please enter it in the following google doc:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aig7p68d7NwYdDhOSTlZTUVpdlMxVW5QbFVDRjZpZEE#gid=0

There is a sample questions on the first line; please do not delete it. Please follow the “You” and “Your opponent” wording on it. Doing so makes it easier to use the question at the booth :)

When submitting a new question, please have in mind the following guidelines:

1) Questions should use simple cards when possible; Standard-legal cards would be good.
2) Questions should both test and educate.
3) Questions should involve core rules. (Basics about layers, targeting, casting spells, combat, and turn structure)
4) Questions should not contain more than 4 cards. Keep the questions simple and not too hard to understand what is going on.
5) Questions should not be yes/no questions. We don’t want players to be able to guess the answer.

Thanks and Happy booth Judging
Michael

Judge Booth - Questions needed

Hello everyone

I received some mails about what is happening with the Judge Booth.

The website is currently out of service, and the project is in stand by due to various reasons. I completly understand that this project is usefull for a lot of you, but unfortunetly I don't have an expected date for a return to the normalcy.

Some guys are working at the time I am writing this news, to find a solution. So, please be patient.

Thanks for your reading and understanding,

Jean-François

Judge Booth - Questions needed

Hola everybody !

The Dominaria spoiler season is over and it's time to get some new questions for the Judge Booth.

If you want to submit one or many questions including Dominaria cards, enter them in this following google spreadsheet :

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aTzm2fXWtOy4w-C1DWdLM6sL4PDuARwvLb-j2OHjDUs/edit#gid=0

There is a sample question on the first line ; please do not delete it (I will be really disappointed if you do). Please follow the “You” and “Your opponent” wording on it. Doing so makes it easier to use the question at the booth :)

When submitting a new question, please have in mind the following guidelines:

1) It's hightly recommanded to use standard cards but, you can also use cards from exotic sets like commander and old sets if there is at least one Dominaria card in them, except maybe silver bordered sets (no, you don't want to explain unstable weird thing to judge candidates and players !)
2) Questions should both test and educate.
3) Questions should involve core rules. (Basics about layers, targeting, casting and resolving spells, combat, turn structure, basic replacement effects, trigered abilities, SBA)
4) Questions should not contain more than 4 cards. Keep the questions simple and not too hard to understand what is going on.
5) Questions should not be yes/no questions. We don’t want players to be able to guess the answer.

Do not worry, the Judge Booth is about to be online again. Please be patient.

Thanks for your reading and hope you will enjoy your Dominaria prereleases !

Judge Booth - Questions needed

Bonjour judges,

War of the Spark is coming soon and that means we can have some new questions for the Judge Booth interface.

As always you can submit your questions via the spreadsheet at…
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aTzm2fXWtOy4w-C1DWdLM6sL4PDuARwvLb-j2OHjDUs/edit#gid=0
or you can enter them directly in the interface itself if you have access.

To echo Jean-François from previous posts, new questions should follow the guidelines listed below:

1) The players in each question should be identified as “You” and “Your opponent”.

2) The use of all standard cards in your questions is desired but not mandatory. Cards from all formats including Commander or Vintage are acceptable.

3) Questions should both test and educate the readers. In particular, they should aim to teach the core rules of the game (layers, the turn structure, state-based actions, replacement effects, etc.) but questions that don't are still allowed.

4) Try to keep the number of different cards and tokens used in a question to five or less.

5) Try to avoid having “Yes/No” answers to a question. We don't want readers to be able to guess the right answer.

Thank you for your time. I wish you all a wonderful prerelease weekend.

or you can enter them directly in the interface itself if you have access.

Be mindful that all questions should follow the guidelines listed below:

1) The players in each question should be identified as “You” and “Your opponent”.

2) The use of only standard cards, particularly Core Set 2020 cards, is desired but not mandatory.

Thank you for your time,
