On behalf of the Southwest US Region, we are excited to invite you all to our region’s next Judge Conference!

This conference will be held on Monday, August 26th, 2019 at Darkside Games 9620 S Las Vegas Blvd Suite N8, Las Vegas, NV 89123.

Starting at 9AM and running approximately till 5PM, and will include a lunch break around 11:30PM.

How to Register

If you are interested in attending, go ahead and click the “Apply Now!” button at the top of your screen. Please note that space will be limited to 70 applicants. Uncertified judges and out of region judges are certainly welcome to apply. Since this will be a foil supported event, only certified judges who apply before the deadline will be eligible to receive foils.

We take writing cover letters very seriously as it has a large impact on your ability to work events. When applying for this conference, please treat it as though you are writing a cover letter for a GP or other large event you are wishing to be staffed on.  

There is a Development Conference being ran concurrent with the Las Vegas Judge Conference, being that space is limited in the Development Conference you will need to apply separately, please feel free to apply to both.

Presenters

Judges interested in presenting should please indicate this in both your application and your cover letter, as well as include what topic you would like to cover and any equipment needs you might have. (Projector, AV, etc;) Past experience is by no means required, and first time presenters are welcome to apply. We will contact you before apps close to verify with you that you are presenting.

Schedule

There will be two tracks with content for varying levels of experience and interests. Our goal is to have the full schedule posted 2 to 3 weeks before the event.

Level 1 and Level 2 Testing

Testing will be available at this conference, however we must receive advanced notification in order to guarantee we will have the materials/time needed to do so.
