UKISA Judge Conference 2015

We are pleased to announce this years annual standalone conference for judges from United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa!

The conference will be held in Birmingham on Saturday, November 21st and Sunday, November 22nd

Judge conferences are a great chance to meet and interact with other judges, learn lots and of course to have fun!

The organisers are currently in negotiations with a venue provider working on a package including accommodation and meals for the conference.  for details of this please see below

As a thank you from the program, any certified judge who applies by 22/10/2015 and attends the event will receive judge foils. We will be offering a method to exchange foils for the cost of the conference.  We will publish details once this is finalised.

There will of course be plenty of time for social activities and other fun events during the conference weekend (including commander).  There is an expectation however that attendees attend seminars and workshops and whilst attending them pay attention to the content provided.

Thank you all for your patience whilst we organised the venue for this years Regional Conference. We are delighted to announce that the event will take place at 


The Hilton Birmingham Metropole
Pendigo Way
National Exhibition Centre Birmingham
B40 1PP 

We have a sweet deal for this event, this includes refreshments, lunch and dinner on day 1, a room for the night (twin, shared with 1 other) and breakfast on day 2, as well as two awesome days of networking and learning. 

Conference will begin at 12midday on 21/11/2015. It is anticipated conference will finish at 6:30pm on 22/11/2015.

As we mentioned in the brief on JudgeApps there will be a charge for this years conference of £110 per person, we understand this is a relatively large amount of money, so we have taken steps to offset this. We have arranged a deal for this years foil packets with Magic Madhouse, therefore we are able to offer attendees the opportunity to forgo their foil packet in full, in lieu of payment for this years conference. 

As a very important notice, please do NOT book with the hotel yet, we will be sending booking details out  to all people who have applied for conference on JudgeApps, we'll be sending this out periodically between now and conference, but it is within your interests to register soon to secure your place.

FAQ

I live near Birmingham, can I just commute and get it cheaper?

Sadly not, because of the pricing structure at the venue, it will cost you less to come with the overnight package than to pay for the two days separately.
