Manaforge cinder mana ability paying for a manaforge cinder mana ability

I control a powerfull manaforge cinder.

I activate her ability twice.

I announce I want to activate it a third time. As it cost me mana, I have the opportunity to activate mana abilities. I want to pay the generic mana with a mana that I'll get by activating manaforge cinder again. As I'm still in the step to activate the third time I didn't finish yet activating it, so getting the mana to pay would be the third time.

But when I've finish to activate the mana ability, it's the fourth time.

I've probably something wrong somewhere who make this situation impossible, but I don't find where or why.

Hi,

With the latest update to the Comp Rules, this loophole has been closed:

605.3c Once a player begins to activate a mana ability, that ability can’t be activated again until it has resolved.

Once you've chosen to activate the Cinder's ability, you cannot activate it again until the ability resolves, meaning you can no longer more than three times each turn.
