Hall of Gemstone

What is the intended functionality of this card? Specifically, if a land is tapped for colorless mana, will it get changed to mana of the color chosen that upkeep? The reason why I ask is that it says "Until end of turn, lands tapped for mana produce mana of the chosen color instead of any other color.“, and while colorless is a type of mana, it is not a color.

If it is meant to only change mana from one color (i.e. not colorless mana), would it be best to update Oracle wording to ”Until end of turn, lands tapped for colored mana…“ Similarly, if it should affect any type of mana (including colorless), I think it would be more in-line with proper templating to say ”…instead of any other type."

So the definitive answer is: Hall of Gemstone will leave colorless mana colorless. It's not the same as similar cards, but the printed text is different and printed text should be followed as much as possible.
