112.11 and copiable values?

My opponent has an Archetype of Aggression.

I have a Horizon Chimera and a Cryptoplasm.

During my upkeep, Cryptoplasm copies Horizon Chimera, does the Archetype effect prevent the adding of trample to Cryptoplasm in layer 1?

112.11 seems to say it does. “If a resolving spell or ability creates a continuous effect that would add the specified ability to such an object, that part of that continuous effect does not apply”

Would this mean that the copiable values of Cryptoplasm are the same as Horizon Chimera except no trample and that Cryptoplasm wouldn't have trample if I removed the Archetype?

Or is the intent for the “can't gain <ability>” effect to only apply in layer 6?

Also the “can't have <ability>” (ie. lose) portion of the effect is dependent on other effects that would add that ability in layer 6, unlike most other lose ability effects, right?
