Null Profusion and effects that modify the hand size

Hi everybody,

Suppose I have a Null Profusion on the battlefied, that essentially says : « Your maximum hand size is two »

I know this ability, which changes the games rules, creates a continuous effect and follows the same rules about layers concept (dependencies or timestamp).

That means if, for example, my opponent controls Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, we look the timestamp to know if my hand size is 0 or 2 (depending the order). This is similar with a Reliquary Tower, and in that case, my hand size would be 2 or without maximum, depending the order (please correct me if I am wrong).

But, what happens if there is an effect that says : « Your (maximum) hand size is augmented by two » ? As far as I know, there is no cards with a similar effect, but I wonder if that would result in 4 or 9 (if this effect is more recent that the one created by the profusion's ability) or 2 otherwise.

I know this is a theoretical situation, but that would help me to know the answer and why.

Thanks in advance,

Jean-François

EDIT : It seems it is possible to make a similar situation with a Minamo Scrollkeeper, and in that case, we add continuous effects or fix the hand size depending the timestamp order.
