Brimaz blocking & damage assignment

Ajani attacks Nissa with a Runeclaw Bear. Nissa blocks Runeclaw Bear with Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Grizzly Bears. Ajani chooses Grizzly Bears then Brimaz as the damage assignment order. Brimaz's triggered ability triggers and resolves, and a 1/1 cat token is now also blocking Runeclaw Bear. When Ajani re-assigns the damage order, Grizzly Bears must come before Brimaz, correct? The only legal damage assignment orders would be:

1/1 cat, then Grizzly Bears, then Brimaz
Grizzly Bears, 1/1 cat, then Brimaz
Grizzly Bears, Brimaz, then 1/1 cat

Thanks, CR 509.7 isn't completely clear to me.

Brimaz blocking & damage assignment

Correct. 509.7 tells you to put that creature somewhere in the already-created blocking order. It doesn't let you change the order of the previous blockers. Once the token enters, you could put it first in the combat damage assignment order, between the Bears and Brimaz, or after Brimaz. You are not allowed to change the order of the other creatures that was already determined, so you could not move Brimaz in front of the Bears.
