PPTQ Judge Handbook

Hello judges,

Please note that there is an update about the recommendation of ratio judges to players.

In the document, I roughly calculate 1 judge per 30 players. However, apparently I saw an official document from WPN. – “Securing your Head Judge and Staff”

The next version of PDF (and also in judge wiki) will be updated to reflect this. :D

for now, please see that WPN document here >> http://wpn.wizards.com/sites/wpn/files/attachements/howsecurejudges_v4.pdf

Thank you
Smith

I would recommend adding a section for announcements specific to Limited events.

“2.g) Table number and score pad (package from WoTC)”

Is the TO supposed to receive a package from Wotc with this?

“3.c) The ratio of judges to player is 1 judge to 30 players not inclusive of Head Judge (HJ) and scorekeeper (SK).”

So, for a 20 people, it's HJ+SK+ 1 judge?

Hi Jorge,

Thank you for your suggestion.

I just re-check with my local Play Event, there is no table number and
score pad provide. I will remove that sentence.

The suggestion from WPN recommendation include both HJ and FJ but not
included SK. For 20 players, it's 1 HJ + 1 SK.
