Write Into Being

I have a question in regards to this card.

The Fate Reforged release notes state the following:

If you're playing with the top card of your library revealed, you'll manifest one of the cards, then the other one will be revealed, then you can choose to put that card on the bottom of your library or leave it on top.

If you choose to place the 2nd card (the one previously not revealed) on the bottom - why is it revealed first?

You follow the instructions in the order they're printed on the card. Since the Write doesn't say to move them to another zone, they're still a part of your library. First, you manifest one of the cards. Then, you choose whether the other card stays on top or goes to the bottom. There is a time afte the first card is manifested where the other card is the top card of the library, so it needs to be revealed as well.
