Do the new rules changes to casting a spell mean that
Yixlid Jailer no longer prevents cards from being cast for their Flashback cost?
From what I can tell from the new 601.2 rules, the legality of the cast spell isn't checked until the spell is on the stack. When a spell is on the stack, it isn't affected by the Jailer, so it has Flashback; it doesn't matter that the spell did not have flashback when it was originally in the graveyard.
Is this correct?
