Devoid and color identity

Hi!

CR 903.4 tells us that “The color identity of a card is the color or colors of any mana symbols in that card's mana cost or rules text, plus any colors defined by its characteristic-defining abilities (see rule 604.3) or color indicator (see rule 204).” So is it correct that while a card with devoid is colorless “even outside the game” (CR 702.113a), the color identity of such a card does still take into account the colored mana symbol in its mana costs? For example, Eyeless Watcher is a colorless creature card with a green color identity and therefore not allowed in a Commander deck with a non-green commander? (I know it would be impossible to cast him anyway since there wouldn't be a chance to generate green mana, but he could be used in a different way.)

Devoid and color identity

Color identity is not color. It's mostly just looking at the mana symbols and color indicators on cards and adding them all up. Nothing removes them.
