Heroic Intervention clarification

I got this into play:
Active player attacks with 4 2/2 creatures. All of them targeting opponent's Planeswalker, that would die to them, but before damage resolves, the opponent plays an Heroic Intervention to protect his Planeswalker with Indestructible.
My question is: I know how indestructible works with creatures, but how does it works with planeswalkers? And, by the way, can Hexproof protect Planeswalkers from redirect damage?
Thanks

Heroic Intervention clarification

Hi,

Indestructible doesn't work very well with planeswalkers. While it prevents them from being destroyed by something like the Never half of Never//Return, it doesn't help with damage. Being dealt damage as a planeswalker still causes that many loyalty counters to be removed from the planeswalker, and a planeswalker with 0 loyalty is put into the graveyard. This is not destruction, so being indestructible won't save it.

And with the planeswalker redirection rule, the planeswalker is never being targeted by the redirected damage (it's just a choice that's made as the spell or ability is resolving), so the planeswalker having hexproof won't prevent your opponent from being able to redirect noncombat damage to it.

Thanks,
