"From Anywhere" vs "Dies"

I'm hoping to get some help understanding the logic of 603.6c, which says in part

I can rule this correctly by just memorizing it, but I'm trying to understand it, and I'm struggling with finding a better explanation than “that's what the rules say.”

As an example in gameplay: AP controls a Humility and a creature with a Dies trigger, and their creature dies – they don't get their trigger.

AP controls Humility and an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, and Emrakul dies - they do get their trigger to shuffle the graveyard into the library.

Other than “because that's what the rules say,” how do you explain this?
