Master of Cruelties interaction with Grand Melee

Recently this scenario has popped up in my local playgroup.

It's my turn.I control a Master of Cruelties and 2 other creatures with no relevant abilities, the Master has just lost summoning sickenss this turn. One of my opponents has had Grand Melee in play for several turns.

Which creatures can attack this turn?

You have to attack with the other two creatures.

Master of Cruelties creates an attacking restriction (can only attack alone). You cannot ever disregard a restriction.

Grand Melee creates an attacking requirement (must attack) for each creature. You must choose a set of attackers that respects the maximum number of requirements. Since you can't attack with all three creatures (that would violate the restriction), you must attack with the other two creatures (it's the only way of attacking that respects two requirements).

Now if you had a Master of Cruelties and one other creature, then attacking with either would be fine, since each way respects one out of two requirements (and you can't respect both requirements at once without violating the restriction).
