Question in regards to how Merieke Ri Berit works in regards to stealing a god.

When Merieke Ri Berit untaps and the destroy trigger goes off, it is unable to destroy the god. However none of her rules texts thats that when she becomes untapped that we would return control of the creature to its original owner.

So is it correct to assume that when we untap merieke if she has stolen a god, the player would continue to control the god until Merieke leaves play? What if she takes control of another creature, do we still retain the original link between merieke and the god when she would leave play?

Yes, you just continue to control the God until you don't control Merieke Ri Berit.

Same if you take control of another creature, you keep them all.

Compare with, for example, Callous Opressor. On that one, you lose control of the creature as soon as it becomes untapped - that's why you can't take control of multiple creatures with it. With Merieke you can!
