Volcanic Offering

Hi all. Could someone tell me if I'm right about the way volcanic offering is targetted or, tell correct me? Thanks.

Volcanic Offering:
Destroy target nonbasic land you don't control and target nonbasic land of an opponent's choice you don't control.
Volcanic Offering deals 7 damage to target creature you don't control and 7 damage to target creature of an opponent's choice you don't control.

I'm assuming it's done in the order written, so:

1) I target a non-basic land I don't control.
2) I choose an opponent and they target a non-basic land I don't control (potentially the same land I did).
3) I target a creature I don't control.
4) I choose an opponent (either the same one or not) and they target a creature I don't control (potentially the same land I did).

Is that correct?
I'm only only really thinking for Commander.

Thanks
Dave

Hi,

Yes, that's how it works. You (the player casting the Offering) chooses a nonbasic land you don't control, then your chosen opponent (with the knowledge of what you targeted) chooses a target nonbasic land you don't control. Then you repeat with the “deal 7 damage to an opponent's creature” option.
