I would just like to clarify a couple things with 614.12:

Let's say there is a resolved Hallowed Moonlight effect, and I am resolving a Sun Titan's trigger.

1. If I currently have 4 devotion to blue and target Thassa, God of the Sea, does she enter or is she exiled?

2. If I control a Starfield of Nyx and I target some enchantment which would be my fifth enchantment, does it enter or is it exiled?

I feel that these are effectively the same situation, but present them separately just for clarity.

The disconnect that I have seen others struggle with (and, to be sure, I don't entirely understand it myself) is that this wording

would suggest to many that, for example, Sulfur Falls entering the battlefield with Prismatic Omen (and no other lands) in play would enter untapped. The continuous effect of Omen already exists, and it would apply to the Falls. However, Callum's post here is counter to that.

The purpose here is twofold: first, to prompt an answer for Thassa entering on a board with 4 blue devotion (because, surely, people will want an answer from post rule change); and second, to hopefully gain the tools to adequately explain to others why this is the case.

Hi,

Thanks for your questions. The rules change has not affected these interactions at all. Thassa and the enchantment are not on the battlefield yet when we're looking ahead to check their characteristics, so Thassa will not contribute her devotion, and the returning enchantment won't count towards your number of enchantments. In both cases, neither card will end up exiled by the Moonlight.
